RUNNING THE PROGRAM
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The program should be run from within WILDCAT!'s Home Directory.
It can, for example, be included in your nightly maintenance
batch.
COMMAND LINE OPTIONS
RonsSTAT <display> [+|-area1;area2...] [-Q] [-C:nnnn]
? This will cause RonsSTAT to display a help screen
showing the different command line options.
display This is the base-name of the outputfile to write. The
suffix .BBS is added automaticly. The name given should
be a valid DOS name.
{+|-}area1[;area2]...
This is used to exclude (-) or include (+) the File
Area numbers following. A maximum of 30 areas can be
given, separated with comma's or semicolons. All File
area's are included by default. Example: -19;26 will
exclude File Area #19 and #26, whereas +1;3;5;10 will
include ONLY the area's #1, #3, #5 and #10.
-Q This tells RonsSTAT to do no screen writing while the
program is working (REGISTERED VERSIONS ONLY!)
-S Supresses File-area numbering on the generated display.
The numbers in front of the File-area descriptins some-
times confuses the caller because they do not always
match the area numbers presented within WILDCAT! when
listing areas.
-C:nnnn This tells RonsSTAT which conference to use in determi-
ning the Bulletin Path. The default conference is 0
(zero). (REGISTERED VERSIONS ONLY!)
ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES
RonsSTAT fully supports WILDCAT!'s environment variables, but in
addition it recognises the variable RONSKEY.
If you, for example, put your RonsSTAT.KEY in the directory
"C:\REGKEYS", you need to tell RonsSTAT so by including the
following statement in your AUTOEXEC.BAT:
Set RONSKEY=C:\REGKEYS
